things I’ve appreciated
◆ The “Likes and Dislikes” intros on Love on the Spectrum, and the way that my brain will immediately try to pick the perfect ones, and it’s always different, but right now it’s:
Likes: phonetic spelling and egg and cheese sandwiches
Dislikes: the sound of chip bags rustling and the band Imagine Dragons
◆ The movie Black Bag, which is pulpy and fun and mad British, but beyond that, simply deserving of a heavy pile of Oscars simply for being an hour and a half long.
◆ “Name it to tame it” as a generally helpful concept to understand even it’s more like “name it so that you can share space with it even though it’s breaking shit around you and if you can let it tire itself out you’ll both wake up somewhat tame tomorrow”
◆ C (2), insisting that we sit in the grass when we throw the ball back and forth as she squeals with pride and joy every time she makes a catch (which is a lot), a reminder among other things that I don’t usually sit, I hover, though standing doesn’t accomplish much, and that when I was a kid, the youngest of three, four and eight years younger than my brothers and alone-ish on the weekends especially, that I used to just like lay in the grass outside by myself, tearing blades of grass in half, sometimes listening to The Simpsons Sing the Blues on cassette until I’m called back in, and I snap back, sitting in the grass, where I should be at least some of the time, because, I’ve never been happy having hovered.

things I’m making
I’ve had several people tell me they’d buy a t-shirt of that ORGANIC WASTE design so, assuming you were among them, please do let me know if you prefer the pocket print or the larger one (there will be a Sage shirt color option too if you’re not a black t-shirt person)

have a great week out there, friends, we’re surviving 🙏
